German Language Day Camp for 5-7 year olds

This five day Day-Camp is designed for children of ages 5-7 (born between 2005-2007), from beginners to advanced learners of German, who want to improve their German language skills in a relaxed and playful environment together with their contemporaries.

We will play, hike, do handicrafts together - and all this in German! Depending on the weather, we will take longer or shorter trips around the immediate area. By playing language games. learning children's rhymes and fulfilling language tasks, the children will become familiar with the German language. The small group size (6-participant maximum) allows the camp instructor to spend quantity and quality time with each child individually, so that even children with advanced knowledge of the German language get the maximum benefit!

All travel expenses during the camp day (9.00-15.30/17.00), entrance fees, course material as well as snacks (fruit, snacks and beverages) are included in the course fees. Lunch must be brought by the participants. We ask the parents to send an old sweater (long-sleeved) or an old shirt with their children on the first day. Depending on the weather, we will be painting, doing handicrafts, etc.

Since our daily program is dependent on the weather, we ask you to understand that we cannot offer a detailed daily schedule for the camp. In case of good weather, we anticipate taking time intensive excursions (zoo visit, boat trip, hiking the Uetliberg). However, if it were to rain, we would be limited to reasonable outdoor activities and would spend the day doing crafts, cooking, etc., in the facilities of Zeltweg. This flexibility allows us to adjust the program to each group's needs.

Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.

Childcare from 15.30 to 17.00 costs an additional CHF 100.-
